As this is an airline-operated lounge, they offer not only alcohol and other drinks, but also food, and the service is more complete than that of a credit card lounge.

Target users

You can use the Cathay Pacific Lounge if you are flying in first class or business class, or if you have a certain airline status. If you are flying in first class, you may also bring one person with you.

JAL Global Club (JGC) holders can also bring up to one companion into the club as a "oneworld frequent flyer" (Sapphire member or Emerald member).

Lounge location and directions

The Pier is located near Gate 65 in Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport. It is far away from the immigration checkpoint. Therefore, please take the shuttle within the airport when using it.

The ride is free, but you can only use it to go there. The shuttle heading to the immigration area is exclusively for those entering the country.

Flights to Japan often depart from the gate near this lounge. If you are departing from a gate near the immigration area, please allow plenty of time.

As you walk toward Gate 65, you will see a signboard for THE PIER. If you look closely, it says "First Class Lounge". The First Class Lounge is located before the Business Class Lounge, so make sure you don't miss it. ▼
