[JAL(japan airline)] Sakura Lounge (how to use it?)

JAL has its own lounge service called Sakura Lounge. The Sakura Lounge provides a comfortable environment before your flight, with drinks such as alcohol and meals available on international flights. The best part is that you can relax in the lounge until just before departure without having to sit on a hard chair at the airport for a long time.

International Sakura Lounge service details

The Sakura Lounge on international flights provides drinks, meals, shower rooms, newspaper service, and more.

Sakura Lounge service details for domestic flights

The Sakura Lounge on domestic flights serves alcohol, including draft beer, and snacks. No food will be provided, but you can eat food and drinks (that don't have a strong smell) purchased outside in the lounge.

There are two lounges at Haneda Airport. It's located just after the security checkpoint, so you can relax until just before boarding time.

The conditions for entering the Sakura Lounge are as follows:

When using international flights

Same-day airport upgrades are not available for Premium Economy Class. Also, it cannot be used when boarding a codeshare flight operated by another company.

It cannot be used when boarding a flight to Seoul or Guam.

When using domestic flights

(Infants under 3 years old are not included in the number of accompanying persons.)

You can also use this service when connecting from JAL international first class or business class, or when connecting to the same class by 6 a.m. the next day.

Eligibility for admission based on JAL status

The second and third companions can use the lounge coupon.

Eligibility for admission through oneworld elite status

Can be used by up to 1 accompanying person.

International flight

The amount varies depending on the region of purchase. Purchases will be made on the website.

Domestic flights

General passengers who do not have the above status can also use the Sakura Lounge for 3,000 yen per person. Advance reservations on the website are required.

JMB Crystal campaign

As part of the JMB Crystal campaign, you can receive exclusive lounge coupons for the Sakura Lounge at Haneda Airport domestic flights. You will receive 6 electronic coupons that can be used until the end of the year. Please note that only the member himself/herself is eligible; accompanying persons are not permitted to enter the room.

lexus card member

This service is available to individual members who hold a Lexus Card and are registered for the JAL service course, as well as up to one companion traveling on the same flight.

You can use the international and domestic lounges twice each (four times in total) from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.

Explaining how to use Sakura Lounge

Entry procedures at domestic flight reception

When entering the Sakura Lounge, hold the QR code of your boarding pass and the card linked to the machine installed at the reception desk and a sound will sound, indicating your registration is complete.

If you have a companion, press the "Click here to enter with a companion" button on the machine installed at the reception desk, then hold up the primary member's ticket, then the companion's ticket.

Entry procedures at international flight reception

All you have to do is show your boarding pass to the receptionist. If you are traveling with a companion, you will be informed and their boarding pass will also be checked.
