Cathay Pacific boarding report and in-flight meal review (Narita JAPAN⇔ Hong Kong)

I boarded Cathay Pacific Airways based in Hong Kong, so I would like to introduce the in-flight meal review. I boarded a flight from Narita Airport to Hong Kong Airport.

Narita Airport (NRT) → Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)

Narita airport

The Cathay Pacific check-in counter at Narita Airport opens in time for flights, so if you arrive too early, it may not be available. The counter is open for arrivals approximately 3 hours before departure time.

After checking in, pass through the security checkpoint and immigration checkpoint to enter the departure area (restricted area). Relax in the lounge until departure time. Cathay Pacific is part of the Oneworld alliance, so I used the Sakura Lounge.

Aircraft/seat (CX521)

The aircraft is a Boeing 777-300. Although it was a large aircraft, the plane was nearly full. The flight to Hong Kong takes 5 hours and 25 minutes.

▼In-flight monitor supports Japanese

Movies are categorized by genre, but there is also a mystery genre called cooking movies. The image quality is clear and easy to see.

In-flight meal

Next, we will introduce the in-flight meals.

▼Main. Sauce is poured over stir-fried beef and vegetables.

▼Comes with Haagen-Dazs cookies and cream.

▼Haagen-Dazs is made in France! Compared to Japanese cookies and cream, the cookie dough is thicker and tastes like sugar. Japanese cookies are rather moist.

▼Peanuts and drinks will be served after the meal.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) → Narita Airport (NRT)

Cathay Pacific is based at Hong Kong International Airport, so there are many check-in counters and they are never closed during the day, so you don't have to worry about time.

Aircraft (CX500)

This time the aircraft is A350-900. Flight time is 4 hours.

▼In addition to hand gel, there was also hand cream in the toilet.

▼Since it is an A350 aircraft, an external camera is installed.

In-flight meal

Introducing in-flight meals.

▼Seafood curry

This is the so-called common Japanese curry. It also comes with soba noodles, fruit, and bread.

▼Chicken and hash potatoes.

▼Dessert is Haagen-Dazs. The flavor is Summer Berry and Cream.

Arrived safely on time. It was a satisfying flight, including the use of the lounge.
