[Okinawa Hotel Blog Accommodation Record] Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa Room Review (Nationwide Travel Support)

I stayed at Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa, a hotel directly connected to Yui Rail Asahibashi Station near the entrance to Kokusai Dori in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, so I'm going to write a blog-like review of the hotel.

What is Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa?

Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa is a hotel that boasts spacious rooms and high-quality spaces, all of which are over 35 square meters in size. We offer unique services to differentiate ourselves from other hotels.

It has good access from the airport and is directly connected to Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail. Furthermore, the hotel is directly connected to Naha Bus Terminal, making transportation convenient. Not only can you travel within Naha city, but you can also travel to resort areas in the northern part of the prefecture by simply riding the bus that leaves from the bus terminal right below the hotel.

Ikkyu Diamond Benefits

This time I made a reservation through Ikkyu.com, so I was able to take advantage of Diamond member benefits. The benefits are as follows.

  • Free room upgrade
  • Late check-out until 13:00
  • Petit sweets as a welcome gift
  • Get a free bottle of wine when you use the dinner course for 2 or more people at Dining 19.

I think Ikkyu's Diamond benefits are quite fulfilling. This time I was able to get a room upgrade.

The room I reserved was a ``Premier City View Twin,'' but I was upgraded to a ``Premier Bayside View Bath Twin.''

Regarding late check-out, we confirmed in advance that we could have it until 1:00 p.m. When I called, I was told that late check-out until 15:00 is not possible as the hotel is nearly full, but that it is possible until 13:00. Officially, the opening time is 13:00, but depending on availability on the day, it may be possible to extend the opening until 15:00.

You can check in from 2pm, so if you were to extend your stay until 3pm the next day, you would be able to stay for 25 hours.

Click here for the welcome gift of small sweets.

There were two sweet potato tarts from Okashi Goten. It was prepared on a table in the room.

I did not use the dinner benefit this time.

These are Ikkyu's Diamond benefits. I thought it was a very beneficial hotel.

Liga Marche is amazing

One of the selling points of this hotel is the free amenity buffet called Riga Marche. This service allows you to freely view, pick up, and enjoy in your guest room.

The amenity stand is available 24 hours.

Bath salts that you can scoop up yourself and enjoy in your room's bath.

Basic cosmetics and sunscreen are included. There were also face masks, tissues, and alcohol wipes.

There are coffee and tea that can be brewed in UCC drip pods.

We also had unlimited brown sugar chocolate from Royce Ishigakijima, although we didn't have many of them. It's amazing.

Detox water and coffee machines are also available.

It's fun to be able to pick up as many items as you want.

Review with hotel photos

This time we checked in around 16:00. It's still bright outside. I will write a review with photos.

This is Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail. There is a direct connection from this station to the hotel.

Hotel exterior/lobby floor view

This is the exterior of the hotel. It is a high-rise building.

The top floor, the 14th floor, is the reception and lobby floor. Guest rooms must be accessed by elevator from reception. You cannot go directly downstairs from your room; you must go through the front desk on the top floor.

A sofa is provided at the front desk.

When we arrived, the front desk was busy, we gave our name and had to wait for a while. Check-in can be done seated. I think there were quite a few customers waiting because they were explaining things carefully.

Towards the end of the explanation, a welcome drink of Shikuwasa juice was served, but I didn't have time to drink it before I was taken to my room. (disappointing)

Room review (Premier bay side view bath twin)

The attendant guided us to our room and carried our luggage.

Here is a photo of the room.

There are two beds in the back of the room, and a sofa and table in the front.

Three pillows are provided.

There is a sofa large enough for one person to sleep, and a desk with tea and sweets. As a Diamond benefit of Ikkyu, there is also a red sweet potato tart.

There is a safe between the beds.

This is a common size refrigerator in hotels.

We have Sanpin tea and Okinawan cookies.

Coffee cups and glasses are also available.

Water is enough for each person. There are also UCC drip pod capsules. You can get extra at Riga Marche, but you can also find it in your room.

The TV was small.

The air conditioning was fine and comfortable.

This photo is of a closet. It had a door and was a walk-in closet.

There are also bathrobes.

There was also Febreze.

Bath · Toilet

Next, we will introduce the bath, toilet, and sink.

The bath is located near the window of the room as it is a view bath.

Here is the wash basin. It has a relatively clean design.

Amenities are listed here. Basic cosmetics are also available here.

Next is the bath.

It is a view bath, so there is a window in the bath. You can see the cityscape of Naha city.

There was also a bath pillow.

The bathtub is relatively large, so you can take a relaxing bath.

Three types of bath salts are available.

The toilet has a chic design and is very simple.

view from the window

Here is the view from outside. Although it has a bay view, it doesn't mean you can see the sea very well.

Although the hotel is located in the city, there is a feeling of freedom.

If you look down, you can see the Yui Rail running.

Comprehensive review

This concludes our introduction to Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa with photos. As a hotel directly connected to a station, which is rare in Okinawa Prefecture, it is not only a hotel with convenient transportation, but also has various features designed to provide a premium experience.

The easy-to-understand classification of guest rooms into standard floors and premier floors also gives a sense of the care that is typical of Japanese hotels. I think it's a rare service that on the premier floor, you not only get the grade of the room, but you also get privileges such as priority reservations for dinner and access to the bar.

In terms of stay, early check-in and late check-out are guaranteed as a base, and bath salts are abundantly provided, which deserves high praise.

I think that Ikkyu's Diamond benefits are quite fulfilling. Room upgrades, extra late check-out, and sweet potato tart perks make your stay even more rewarding.

At the amenity buffet called Riga Marche, I liked that you could get it whenever you wanted. I was surprised to find chocolates from Royce Ishigakijima, but I don't know if it's because they're so popular or because they don't have many of them, but I can't get them at all depending on the timing. After looking at it several times, I was finally able to get it.

As for how to use the hotel, I think it is possible to arrive at the airport late at night and go to the northern part of the prefecture from the bus terminal in front of the hotel the next day, or vice versa.

I think this hotel can take full advantage of its location near the airport.
