Japanese garden

As soon as you step out of the hotel, you will see a Japanese garden. The garden is surrounded by three hotels: Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, and Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa.

Inside the garden, there is a guesthouse, a tea room, a Kannon-do hall, and more.

The garden is so rich in nature that you can feel the four seasons, so much so that you won't believe you are in a city.

▼It's lit up at night, making it a great photo opportunity.

Review with photos

Now, let me introduce it with photos. This time, I took a taxi from Shinagawa Station to the hotel front desk. I arrived at the taxi stand at Shinagawa Station for 500 yen.

Front lobby floor

You can also go there on foot, but the hotel is located on a hill, so it's a steep uphill climb.

▼The lobby floor is spacious and has a calming atmosphere.

▼Click here for the map of the facility. There is not only a restaurant but also a wedding salon.

▼I arrived at the front desk around 16:00. There were about 3 people in line in front of me, but the wait was about 5 minutes.

▼There are also many restaurants.

▼Rooms are located from the 3rd floor to the 15th floor.

Guest room

Next, we will introduce the guest rooms.

▼This time it's a king-sized bedroom.

▼There are two pillows each.

▼There is a small table and chairs.

▼Table

▼Room service massage menu

▼Air purifier

▼There is a charging cable.

▼There is mineral water for each person.

▼Enough number of hangers

Bathroom/toilet

▼It is a unit bath type.

▼Amenity set. There were two types of bath salts.

▼Body soap, shampoo conditioner

view from the room

You can see Tokyo Tower from your room.

▼Night view

▼Daytime

▼I could see planes flying around the city center one after another.

Comprehensive review

I think the advantage of Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is that it is close to Shinagawa Station, and there are aquariums and shopping facilities nearby. It is also easily accessible from Haneda Airport and the Tokaido Shinkansen.

Since it is a large hotel, the lobby is spacious and has a luxurious feel. Although the room was a little old, it was kept clean and I felt like the building was taken care of. Perhaps because the building is old, the soundproofing is not that high, which may be a concern for those who are sensitive. I was satisfied with the Prince Hotel quality in terms of amenities, beds, and other equipment.

I booked a room with a view of Tokyo Tower, so I was able to see the view of the city's buildings from up high.

Overall, I don't have any issues with the staff's customer service. I think Prince Hotels provides good training.

There are plenty of restaurants, so you won't have to worry about finding a meal without leaving the hotel. There are also three other Prince Hotels hotels nearby, so you can eat and shop there. The food and beverage facilities are of high quality, so I don't think you'll be disappointed.

If you have time, we recommend taking a stroll through the Japanese garden in front of the hotel.
